Der LCN-IS2 ist die verbesserte Version des LCN-IS Trennverstärkers und bietet eine noch effizientere Signalverstärkung für den LCN Bus. Er koppelt zwischen dem LCN Bus und dem galvanisch getrennten 2-Drahtbus und sorgt für eine Reichweitenverlängerung von bis zu 1 km. Diese Funktion ist besonders wichtig für die Installation in weitläufigen Gebäuden oder bei der Anbindung von entfernten Steuergeräten.
Der LCN-IS2 ist ebenfalls mit einer Kontroll-LED ausgestattet, die den aktuellen Betriebsstatus anzeigt. Die Installation erfolgt einfach auf einer 35mm Hutschiene, was eine schnelle Integration in bestehende Systeme ermöglicht.
